This petite handwoven vegan bamboo tote bag is super chic, with a compact and practical shape, perfectly sized to hold all your small holiday essentials. Robust and lightweight in equal measure, this roomy tote is handcrafted using traditional Lombokian weaving skills that specialise in a double layer of woven bamboo to increase the flexibility and durability of each bag. Offset with playful Hot Coral raffia to add a blast of colour to your summer style.
Bamboo is indigenous to Indonesia and has been used for centuries to weave daily utilitarian objects such as baskets and mats. It grows easily and quickly, regenerates itself and is highly durable. The bamboo Stelar uses is grown organically and harvested by their artisan communities, then dried naturally in the sun before it is ‘split’ into different thicknesses and woven into panels.
This tote bag also comes with its own unique code, that connects you to the artisan who handcrafted it for you.
